The Colorado Springs Passport Program is headed for its biggest season yet with 60+ businesses participating this summer, according to Colorado Springs Passport Manager, Danielle Rogge.
Booze & Coffee 2-for-1 Deals
The Passport is a pocket-sized book filled with booze and coffee 2-for-1 deals at bars, restaurants and coffee houses throughout Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City.
Here’s how it works: Go to a participating establishment, they’ll stamp your Passport, then serve you their two select beverages for the price of one. Each deal is good only once.
You can find the passport book in Mom and Pop establishments throughout Colorado Springs, as well as online at www.thepassportprogram.com. The cost is $12.50 and you get 2 passports (from different U.S. locations) for the price of one when ordering online. With over 60 Colorado Springs businesses featured, the buy-one-get-one savings add up to hundreds of dollars in free beverages for each Passport holder. After only 2 visits, the cost of your Passport will probably be paid for. The Passport Program is Denver-based and operates in 10 locations throughout the United States with five in Colorado: Denver, Colorado Springs, Boulder, Rocky Mountains (Aspen, Buena Vista, Breckenridge, etc.), and Fort Collins. The Summer Passport runs from May 22-September 30th, 2020.
Colorado Springs Winter Passport
The Colorado Springs Winter Passport had offerings from Tap Traders, Prime 25, Switchback Coffee Roasters, Pizzeria Rustica, Piglatin Cocina, Pub Dog Colorado, and more. Rogge encourages patrons to sign up at https://www.thepassportprogram.com/perks to stay in the loop about events and giveaways.
This isn’t only a book with drink deals, but also an opportunity to mingle at four summer events. The release of the latest Passport could not come at a better time for local bars, restaurants, and coffee houses. The people who operate these businesses are our neighbors. What better way to help support them (and have a lot of fun) than to pick up a passport and patronize their establishments this summer? If you’re stuck in the rut of only going to chains this is a great way to expand your horizons! Bottoms up!
With the current pandemic, Rogge stated the intention is to still move forward with the May 22reveal party. They will make adjustments if needed. Rogge states, “While we’re sorry we can’t be more definitive about the summer launch date at this time, we are evaluating this ever-evolving situation. We are monitoring and adapting as needed.”
