50 Things They Don’t want You to Know About Trump – Jerome Hudson
Jerome Hudson uncovers all the things Americans have not been told about our forty-fifth president. We’re surrounded by supposed influencers shouting about the scandals that Americans care about the least, from TV talking heads to social media activists from feckless Washington swamp monsters to candidates fighting for the soap box.
STAFF THOUGHTS:
The accounting of many things Trump accomplished as President. We have been given too many false accomplishments of previous officials in Washington for years. He was not a lifetime politician, but he got a lot done. The propagandists say no but that is what they want you to believe. Washington is an island unto itself. The problem is that the people in D.C. are sinking and taking the rest of the us with them. Facts, truth, and virtue do not matter. The false narrative is king!
American Crusade – Pete Hegseth
In American Crusade, Pete Hegseth explores whether the election of President Donald J. Trump was sign of a national rebirth, or instead the final act of a nation that has surrendered to Leftists who demand socialism, globalism, secularism, and politically correct elitism. Can real America still win? And how? Hegseth is an old-school patriot who is on a mission to do his part to save our Republic. This book celebrates all that America stands for, while motivating and mustering fellow patriots to stand ready to defend — and save — our great country. As he travels around the country talking to American citizens from all walks of life, Hegseth reveals the common wisdom of average Americans — and how ready they are to join the cultural battlefield. Now is that time, and Hegseth has written the playbook. American Crusade is written with the same insight, politically incorrect candor, and humor that has made his television show one of the most highly rated in America.
STAFF THOUGHTS:
A call to action with prescribed steps. Things need to change to get this country out of the control of the elites. The elites control the schools, the politicians, and the money. It still is a battle worth fighting!!!
Arguing with Socialist – Glenn Beck
In Arguing with Socialists, New York Times bestselling author Glenn Beck arms readers to the teeth with information necessary to debunk the socialist arguments that have once again become popular, and proves that the free market is the only way to go. With his trademark humor, Beck lampoons the resurgence of this bankrupt leftist philosophy with thousands of stories, facts, arguments and easy-to-understand graphics for anyone who is willing to ask the hard questions. He shows that this new shiny socialism is just the same as the old one: a costly and dangerous failure that leaves desperation, poverty, and bodies in its wake.
STAFF THOUGHTS:
A book worth reading. Glenn has his own opinion on things sometimes, but he is very perceptive most of the time. The title ways it all! I personally wonder if it’s even worth trying as most of the socialists I know are too indoctrinated to even discuss let alone argue. I do have my personal thoughts too, but I am not indoctrinated, ha!
Blackout – Candace Owens
It’s time for a black exit. Political activist and social media star Candace Owens addresses the many ways that Democrat Party policies hurt, rather than help, the African American community, and why she and many others are turning right. Black Americans have long been shackled to the Democrats. Seeing no viable alternative, they have watched liberal politicians take the black vote for granted without pledging anything in return. In Blackout, Owens argues that this automatic allegiance is both illogical and unearned. She contends that the Democrat Party has a long history of racism and exposes the ideals that hinder the black community’s ability to rise above poverty, live independent and successful lives, and be an active part of the American Dream. Instead, Owens offers up a different ideology by issuing a challenge: It’s time for a major black exodus. From dependency, from victimhood, from miseducation—and the Democrat Party, which perpetuates all three.
The Blood of Lambs – Kamal Saleem
In his riveting memoir, Kamal Saleem reveals the story of his life as radical Islamic terrorist and how he finally came to renounce his murderous mission, embrace freedom, and warn America of the continuing dangers of terrorism. Born into a large Sunni Muslim family in Lebanon, Kamal was taught that the highest goal he could achieve in life was to be martyred while killing infidels, particularly Christians, Jews, and Americans. At age seven, he was recruited by the Muslim Brotherhood and entered an assault camp where members of al-Assifa, the armed branch of Fatah, trained for terror missions against Israel.
STAFF THOUGHTS:
A scary book written by a man who now has been on both sides of the terrorist issue. A Muslim who converted to Christianity – he has a price on his head! I have personally met him and am impressed with his knowledge and conviction. If you read this it will go a long way to give you an understanding of the many issues involved.
Communism, the Killingest Idea Ever – Paul Kengor
The worst idea in history is back. Communism, has wrecked national economies, enslaved whole peoples, and killed more than a hundred million men and women. What’s not to like? Too many young Americans are supporting communism. Millennials prefer socialism to capitalism, and 25 percent have a positive view of Lenin. One in four Americans believe that George W. Bush killed more people than Josef Stalin. And 69 percent of Millennials would vote for a socialist for president. They ought to know better. Communism is the most dangerous idea in world history, producing dire poverty, repression, and carnage wherever it has been tried. And no wonder—because communism flatly denies morality, human nature, and basic facts. But it’s always going to be different this time. In The Politically Incorrect Guide to Communism, renowned scholar and bestselling author Paul Kengor unmasks communism, exposing the blood-drenched history—and dangerously pervasive influence—of the world’s worst ideology.
STAFF THOUGHTS:
A very detailed history of Communism from Russia to the United States and beyond. The fate of all the countries involved so far and the outcome of each. The book includes a very detailed history of Communism in the United States, from the halls of higher education to the advisors of today’s political scions. A must read if you want to understand how we got to where we are today!!!
The Creature from Jekyll Island – G. Edward Griffin
Where does money come from? Where does it go? Who makes it? The money magicians’ secrets are unveiled. We get a close look at their mirrors and smoke machines, their pulleys, cogs, and wheels that create the grand illusion called money. A dry and boring subject? Just wait! You’ll be hooked in five minutes. Reads like a detective story – which it really is. But it’s all true. This book is about the most blatant scam of all history. It’s all here: the cause of wars, boom-bust cycles, inflation, depression, prosperity. Creature from Jekyll Island is a “must read.” Your world view will definitely change. You’ll never trust a politician again – or a banker.
STAFF THOUGHTS:
A sometimes tedious book that explains the TRUE origins of the Federal Reserve. The Fed has nothing to do with the United States government. Imagine that! It reminds me of the quote from the book/movie, The Da Vinci Code, “the dark con of man”. A true attack on the United States taxpayer and our monetary system. A must read to understand what the Fed really is. It is not what you have been taught.
Crisis of Our House Divided – Thomas Krannawitter
American politics is loud, bitter, and in your face. It’s even affecting our relationships! How often has politics come between you and a friend, a co-worker, a close family member, or even a spouse? How many parents find it difficult to talk with their own kids because of political differences? The shouting and fighting we see on cable news programs seem to be creeping more and more into our personal lives. The bad news is that politics isn’t going away. The good news is that we can understand better why people disagree so strongly over politics, and in the process we can understand and relate better to those closest to us. We can learn to talk quietly and calmly about politics, without all the noise, while together we plan the future we have in common as fellow citizens. Crisis of Our House Divided is our guide. This short, easy read is not written in a wordy, academic style. Instead, it’s concise and to the point. Perfect for kitchen-table conversations.
Fallout – John Solomon & Seamus Bruner
An exhaustively researched book that reads like an investigative thriller, Fallout reveals how Obama’s “Russian Reset” led to corruption, scandal, and a desperate bid to impeach Donald Trump. In 2015, a major story broke exposing Hillary Clinton’s role in approving the sale of American uranium assets to the Russian state nuclear agency, Rosatom. Not only did the sale of Uranium One put 20 percent of America’s domestic uranium supply under the control of Vladimir Putin, there was also evidence that the Clintons themselves had hugely profited from the deal. When presidential candidate Donald Trump made Uranium One the centerpiece of his “Crooked Hillary” attacks, the Clinton team feared its potential to damage Hillary’s campaign. Others in the Obama-Biden camp worried that if elected, Trump would expose their role in selling out America’s security to Putin. Their desperate need to neutralize the issue led them to launch an unprecedented investigation into the Trump campaign’s purported ties to Russia.
STAFF THOUGHTS:
A book in the style of the Peter Schweizer tombs. A telling account of what certain folks in Washington, D.C. are really doing. No, it is not Trump. It’s the Clintons, Obamas and Bidens. Imagine that! Will we ever get back to honesty in D.C.? I doubt it. Read to see the facts of the escapade.
Live Free or Die – Sean Hannity
America’s top-rated cable news host offers his first book in ten years: a look at America’s fight against those who would reverse our tradition of freedom—a fight we can’t afford to lose in 2020. America is great for a reason. Built on principles of freedom, rugged individualism, and self-sufficiency, no country has ever accumulated more power and wealth, abused it less, or used that power more to advance the human condition. And yet, as America blossomed, leftwing radicalism and resentment festered beneath the surface, threatening to undermine democracy first in the sixties and now—more insidiously than ever—in the form of social justice warriors, the deep state, and compromised institutions like academia and the mainstream media.
STAFF THOUGHTS:
A look at what is happening to the United States today as the founding fathers and principles are under a complete attack. The hogwash being thrown around is based on “new facts” that are not true. Read it to get some perspective of where the United States is at this point in our history and what might happen if the non-truths triumph.
Mexifornia – Victor Davis Hanson
Massive illegal immigration from Mexico into California, Victor Davis Hanson writes, “coupled with a loss of confidence in the old melting pot model of transforming newcomers into Americans, is changing the very nature of state. Yet we Californians have been inadequate in meeting this challenge, both failing to control our borders with Mexico and to integrate the new alien population into our mainstream.” Part history, part political analysis, and part memoir, “Mexifornia” is an intensely personal work by one of our most important writers.
STAFF THOUGHTS:
A great thinker and communicator on a very relevant topic. The cost and the hurt to the United States economy and people is more than one would imagine. Enough said!
Save the Swamp – Thomas Krannawitter
Save the Swamp is a must read for progressive activists, university professors, Hollywood celebrities, and government bureaucrats who want to ridicule and harass conservative cranks into silence. They slow down the train of progressivism with their ridiculous clamoring about the Constitution and private property. Enough is enough! Save the Swamp explains how stupid and unscientific conservative arguments are while showing how best to mock them.
STAFF THOUGHTS:
Both sides of the aisle should read this. A more balanced overview than one might expect. The author has a unique way of showing us things we all need to think about!
