TMO Staff: New Year’s Memories and Traditions
New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day – everyone has memories of these two days. It is a time to reflect on the past year and in our case that was 2020. A year that will go down hopefully in flames like a phoenix and be resurrected in 2021. A new year marked with hope, renewed economy, and the end to the COVID-19 pandemic and all that entailed.
Thanksgiving Holiday Tablesetting from the Whitlock Family
Tablesettings are as unique as the person who creates them. The Whitlock family is a military family but they are so much more. Ashlee and Luke have nourished a warm and loving family with their son, Carter and continue that family devotion to their community. They participate in many holiday favorites, from ringing the bell for the Salvation Army or laying wreaths at the gravesites of fallen military members with Wreaths Across America.
Thanksgiving Holiday Decorations from the Hoiles Family
Who wouldn't want to sit at this beautiful table and enjoy their Thanksgiving meal with family and friends? The Hoiles family created an elegant tablesetting with an abundance of warmth and togetherness. Without the usual fanfare of Thanksgiving due to COVID-19, the Hoiles still made the event special with their Thanksgiving holiday decorations.
Why We Cook
The COVID-19 pandemic has given Americans an unexpected amount of unstructured, home-based leisure time. Prohibited from attending our favorite sporting events, concerts, fireworks shows, and even traditional school, the need for something to fill that time grows as the days stretch into weeks and months.
Never Forget
We honor the victims of September 11th. Our hearts and prayers are with the victims, families, and friends who gave the ultimate sacrifice on this fateful day.
Conservatives Care About the Environment
One of the first life lessons I was taught was to not judge a book by its cover. Too often we assume things about others that are completely untrue. If you’ve ever been on the receiving end of this, you know how frustrating it can be. For me, that is how I feel as young, female, conservative voter and I know for fact, others feel this way too.
Our Thoughts and Prayers are with our Community
We want to extend our thoughts and prayers to you, the friends and family of The Maverick Observer, as we process the recent events on the news and in our community.
2010’s Grammy Award Winning Albums
"You’re looking at a vastly different pop landscape than you were in 2009, and 2010s music has come up with new and unprecedented ways to engage your ears." (Udiscovermusic)
