Media

I have been in and out of anger all week, maybe for several weeks.

COVID-19 and Pettiness

I am sure that I am not the only one. The new coronavirus or COVID-19 is only part of the cause. The rest is the lack of media folks and politicians to rise above the pettiness of the world as they see it today.

If we step back into human history, we should be able to learn a lot. But, when we never let crisis go to waste, maybe all we do is point fingers at each other and ourselves. It is time to stop this. It is time to work together even though we have differing views. It is time to quit thinking of only ourselves. We need to solve problems. This one is just bigger than some.

Overplayed Hand

Should it be this big? I don’t think so. The government and the media have both, in my opinion, overplayed their hands. Unless you forgot, the government, yes both sides of the aisle, can’t accomplish squat.

The media today is full of owners and “reporters” that have no true understanding of the sacred idea of just reporting the news without bias, prejudice and filters. These two classes of folks are by and large disreputable and greedy. One for attention and one for the limelight – and maybe both for each.

So, what do we need to do? We need to start looking for women and men of true character, morals and principles. Think about that last sentence for 24 hours and let me know what you think!
