Background: This Spiked Strawberry Lemonade cocktail has been a staple of ours for BBQs and entertaining for years. We brought it back in honor of Valentine’s Day because they are so festive! We make our own strawberry simple syrup, which really puts them over the edge! This recipe has double benefits because it can be tweaked into a mocktail. Simply mix the lemonade with the simple syrup, garnish with strawberries and you have a hand-crafted non-alcoholic drink!

  • 4 ounces Strawberry Lemonade vodka
  • 4 ounces Pink Moscato wine
  • 4 ounces lemonade
  • 4 ounces strawberry simple syrup (directions below)
  • optional: extra strawberries for garnish
  • ice
  1. For strawberry simple syrup: combine 2 cups strawberries (fresh or frozen), 1 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice in a medium saucepan. Stir and bring to boil over medium heat. Cook on low heat for an additional 10-15 minutes. Turn off the heat and allow syrup to cool. Pour syrup through a fine mesh strainer (or clean muslin cloth lined strainer) into a bowl. Pour into a bottle or jar and refrigerate.
  2. Combine simple syrup and vodka into a shaker and shake with ice. Strain and pour into 2 cocktail glasses with ice.
  3. Add pink lemonade and top with sparkling wine. Garnish with strawberries and enjoy!

We recently made these drinks for a Galentine’s Brunch along with our Raspberry Pina Colada cocktails!
