Democratic Socialism, Communism, or Socialism

Democratic socialism, communism, or socialism are all oppressive. While the supporters believe that communism is a wonderful system, they blatantly ignore the realities. This system promotes totalitarian regimes that only replace the power of the existing government with ghastly results. Private property gone. Religious beliefs gone. Genders gone. The “State” runs, manages, or controls ALL facets of your life!

Communism and Narcissistic Tendencies

The history of communist regimes is not pretty. Millions of deaths, shortened lives, and total control of other human beings. Why? All forms of government involve power and this power only works when you have control over people and their money, businesses, or souls.

Government is a sad commentary of the human condition. People with narcissistic tendencies want to control more than themselves and run for office. They believe they are smarter than the other folks. They are not.

Unfortunately, I have known too many of these folks. They are self-centered and self-absorbed, soulless people with sad and pathetic tendencies.

People who strive to be in the ruling class in any form of government but excel as the enablers and executioners of totalitarianism. The “I am better” philosophy works within the mindset well. I believe they are just bad people who will never change.

Where is Education Leading Us?

Why is there so much interest in communism today? A quote frequently attributed to Abraham Lincoln said it best, “The philosophy of the schoolroom in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next.”

I believe he was insightful. Too many teachers today, teaching in public schools (read government schools), are biased indoctrinators not educators. I thought the purpose of school was to initiate students in how to think for themselves not to regurgitate what the teacher believes.

Ask young folks today how they are graded and see what they say. Many of their grades are dependent on regurgitating the teachers’ beliefs and opinions. Is this teaching our students to think for themselves or indoctrinating them into someone else’s mindset?

It should not surprise us. After all, in our edifices of higher learning both private and public they have tenure. Which is not a reality in the private business sector.   They blow smoke up the other teachers’ posteriors when they write their mandated book and have their social get-togethers. After all they are more educated and can use bigger words than a lot of us.

Democratic Socialism vs. Liberty

We should be thankful for the courage of the Greatest Generation and enjoy the opportunities this county affords us all. Just move to a totalitarian country if you do not believe me!

While the US is far from perfect it provided more people with more opportunity to succeed in their personally chosen way than any other country. What would have happened if the US had not fought World War II – would we be speaking another language?

Democratic socialism is rampant today because government education (read indoctrination) is woefully lacking as we do not teach the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Instead we teach the silly belief that the United States is an evil country with outdated founding documents.
