
Background: This Peach Crumble Cobbler is a dessert that will please everyone! It’s made with fresh peaches and a delicious crumble. When peaches are in season, we make this weekly. You could easily adjust it to be made with apples, cherries, or your favorite fruit filling.
- 8 regular-sized peaches, cored and sliced
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 stick butter
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease an 8″ baking dish with butter and set aside.
- Layer the peaches on the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle with the granulated sugar.
- In a medium bowl, use a pastry blender to mix the butter, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, baking powder and vanilla extract until it forms a chunky crumble.
- Sprinkle the crumble evenly over the peaches.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until browned on top and bubbly. Remove from oven and let stand for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Serve with ice cream, whipped cream, or as is. Enjoy!
