Deviled Strawberries are an easy dessert to whip up when entertaining.
Background: This Deviled Strawberries recipe requires minimal ingredients and time to make them. Everybody always loves the cream cheese filling with the fresh strawberries. They’re a great finger food dessert that is fresh and not too sweet. You can serve them on a plate, platter, or even on a deviled egg dish. We recommend using a piping bag to fill the strawberries – it saves on time and creates less of a mess.
- 1 package of fresh strawberries
- 8 ounce block of cream cheese
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- piping bag
- Wash strawberries and cut down the middle, top to bottom, keeping the stems in place. Use the teaspoon to scoop out the center of each strawberry to create a little bowl for the cream cheese filling.
- In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese until it is a creamy texture. Add the vanilla extract and powdered sugar. Beat until well combined.
- Fill a piping bag with the cream cheese mixture and pipe onto each strawberry.
- Keep refrigerated until you’re ready to serve.
