Monster Crunchies are a delicious no-bake treat that everyone will love!

Background: We made Half Baked Harvest’s Monster Crunchies and they were a big hit! Who doesn’t love chocolate and peanut butter together? Simple and easy recipes are always a win in our book and this one takes the cake. Monster Crunchies are sweet, a little salty, and you guessed it, crunchy. They’re perfect for parties, potlucks, or any gathering. We modified the recipe slightly by melting the chocolate over the stove top vs. in the microwave, but you could do either. Take our advice and add this recipe to your line-up. We recommend sharing because they are dangerously good.

  • 24 ounce bag semi-sweet chocolate chips or 2-12 ounce bags
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • ¾ cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup pretzels, broken
  • 1 cup mini M&M’s or regular M&M’s
  1. Line 1-2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt chocolate chips, coconut oil, and peanut butter or low heat, stirring constantly to prevent chocolate from burning.
  3. Once it is smooth, immediately remove from heat and stir in pretzels, Rice Krispies, and M&M’s.
  4. Scoop a spoonful onto the parchment-lined cookie sheet. Repeat until you’ve used all of the mixture.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator or freezer for about 10 minutes or until set.
  6. We recommend storing them in the refrigerator. They also freeze well for future enjoyment.
