The Belmont Jewel is the official cocktail of the Belmont Stakes and is perfect for summer!

Background: With Triple Crown season upon us, we are making the Belmont Jewel, the official cocktail of the Belmont Stakes. Made with bourbon, lemonade, and pomegranate juice, it is a refreshing drink that is perfect for summer. Whether you’re looking for something to sip on while you watch the races or just a good cocktail for this warmer weather, look no further. The color of the cocktail is a beautiful jewel tone and it tastes as good as it looks.

• 1 1/2 ounces Woodford Reserve Bourbon
• 2 ounces Simply Lemonade
• 1 ounce pomegranate juice
• lemon wedge for garnish

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour the bourbon, lemonade, and pomegranate juice into ice filled cocktail shaker.
2. Shake vigorously. Pour into ice filled glass.
3. Garnish with a lemon wedge. Serve and enjoy!
