
Background: This Frozen Peach Margarita has simple ingredients but is absolutely amazing! It’s refreshing and packs a little punch. When peaches are in season, I stock up in order to have enough fresh peaches to make all my favorite things. For this cocktail, you can use frozen peaches. For fresh peaches, I boil my ripe peaches for 20 seconds and the skin comes right off. You can also use that method for cobblers, pies, or canning purposes. I chop them up and freeze them for recipes like this.
- 2 cups frozen peaches
- 6 ice cubes
- 1 shot of tequila
- juice of one lime
- agave nectar or honey to sweeten
- Put all ingredients in a blender. Blend together until smooth.
- Serve in a glass with a salt rim and garnish with peach slices.
