Background: My mother was not a great cook, but this hamburger casserole was one my brother and I really enjoyed as children. We would ask her what it was called, and she simply replied, “Stuff”. This recipe is wonderful if you are wanting a comfort food casserole that your children will eat or a pot luck dish that everyone will enjoy. The recipe also states in her handwriting that it freezes well. “Stuff” hamburger casserole will take you back to the days when we weren’t counting calories and we could eat anything we wanted. The original recipe actually calls for MSG – ahhh, the days of innocence. Enjoy!
