Background: These M&M’s Christmas Cookies are a fun twist on the classic chocolate chip cookie. The red and green M&M’s make them perfect for holidays! They are soft, chewy, and festive. Our family always includes them on our cookie platters. Don’t leave these M&M’s Christmas Cookies off of your Holiday treat platters. You won’t be able to eat just one!

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Christmas M&M’s
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Mix the flour, salt and baking soda together in a bowl.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until creamy and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix just until combined.
  4. Add the flour mixture just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips and M&M’s.
  5. Refrigerate dough for 15 to 30 minutes.
  6. Using a large cookie scoop (about 3 tablespoons), scoop the cookie dough onto the baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 7-10 minutes, or until the edges are barely golden brown. Allow cookies to set on pan for 2-3 minutes before moving to a cooling rack.
  8. Store once cooled in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freeze for up to 3 months.

Add them to your Christmas platters along with the Perfect Peanut Butter Cookies!  Your friends and family will love them!
