Mom’s Homemade Hamburger Helper is a macro-friendly, one pash dish that everyone will love!

Background: During the busy week, we love to make Mom’s Homemade Hamburger Helper. It’s easy to make, macro-friendly, and requires very few ingredients. This recipe will make four portions, but you can double it to feed more or have extra for leftovers. You can use any pasta variation that you or your family prefer. We like to serve Mom’s Homemade Hamburger Helper in a bowl and topped with fresh, cracked black pepper.

  • 1-pound lean ground beef
  • ½ tablespoon Onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic salt
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 4 portions of pasta of your choice, usually half a box
  • 1 can Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 4 ounces of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  1. Cook pasta according to the directions on the box.
  2. While your pasta is cooking, add lean ground beef to a large pan and season with onion powder and garlic salt. Cook over medium-high heat until thoroughly cooked through.
  3. Add cream of mushroom soup and milk to ground beef and mix well.
  4. Next, add the shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and mixed throughout.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  6. Stir in cooked pasta until the mixture is evenly coated.
  7. Serve in bowls with fresh cracked pepper and enjoy!
