Background: We love Green Mountain Grill’s “Mom’s Own Pellet Grilled Quiche” recipe. It is best in the smoker, but can be baked in the oven as well. The recipe makes two quiches – you’ll be glad because they are delicious! Mom’s Own Pellet Grilled Quiche is perfect for breakfast, brunch or special occasions.

  • 3 ounce package of softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pound of Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups of cream-style cottage cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • pre-made pie crust or homemade
  • You can add fried bacon, ham, green onions, spinach or other ingredients (before you cook) to bring this recipe to a whole new level
  1. On your stove, melt butter and stir in the flour. Mixture will be thick. Cook this roux until it reaches a golden yellow color. Beat eggs well and stir them in. Add milk, cream-style cottage cheese, softened cream cheese, sugar, and baking powder. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Pour you mixture into your pre-made pie crusts.
  3. Cut Monterey jack cheese into 3/4″ cubes and drop evenly into the quiches.
  4. Smoke or bake quiches at 350 degrees for 60-75 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
