Chocolate & Butterscotch Bars Recipe

Background: My Mom would always make these Chocolate & Butterscotch Bars during the holidays and now I make them for my family. I should mention that I’m not a big coconut fan, but it doesn’t stop me from eating these! Do not let the shredded coconut sway you away from the seven layers of goodness that these chocolate and butterscotch bars tout. They are THAT good!

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt butter in the bottom of a 13″x9″ baking pan
  3. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top of melted butter and press down
  4. Sprinkle/layer coconut, then chocolate chips, then butterscotch chips, then nuts.
  5. Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk over the top of your layered ingredients.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and cool completely before cutting into bars.
  8. Store in airtight container at room temperature and ENJOY!

These Seven Layer Bars are the perfect addition to your Christmas dessert table! Our family adds them to our cookie platters for friends and family along with M&M Christmas Cookies and our favorite Peanut Butter Cookies.
