Woodford Reserve Bourbon Sparkling Vanilla Bourbon Flute

This Sparkling Vanilla Bourbon cocktail is perfect for summer!

Background: This Sparkling Vanilla Bourbon cocktail has just the right amount of sweetness. Vanilla and bourbon, mixed with bubbly – what could be better to herald summer? Making the vanilla bean simple syrup is key to the incredible taste of this drink. Overall, the Sparkling Vanilla Bourbon cocktail is pretty simple to make, but will wow your guests. Make the vanilla bean simple syrup ahead of time to save on time and refrigerate.

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 vanilla bean, split and seeds scraped
  • 1 1/2 ounces (1 shot) Woodford Reserve Bourbon
  • Champagne, Prosecco, or sparkling wine, chilled
  1. Combine sugar, water, vanilla bean, and seeds in a small pot. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook until sugar is dissolved. Let cool to room temperature, then discard the bean.
  2. Add 1 shot of bourbon and 1 tablespoon of vanilla bean syrup to a chilled champagne flute. Fill to the top with bubbly and serve.
