Watermelon Moscow Mules are refreshing and perfect for summertime!
Background: This Watermelon Moscow Mule cocktail is like summer in a copper cup! Vodka, ginger beer, and lime combined with the fresh watermelon juice is refreshing and delicious. We garnished ours with watermelon stars and festive picks to celebrate the 4th of July in style! Moscow Mules are very simple to make and are always a crowd pleaser. Keep your bar stocked with vodka and ginger beer and you’ll always have a quick cocktail to serve your guests.
- 2 ounces Tito’s vodka
- 3 ounces fresh watermelon juice
- 4 ounces ginger beer
- fresh squeezed lime juice
- Make your fresh watermelon juice by squeezing sliced watermelon through a strainer, into a bowl. Then pour your watermelon juice through a fine mesh strainer. If you don’t want to make your own watermelon juice, you can always buy it. You can also add your watermelon juice to lemonade for a delicious mocktail.
- To assemble your cocktail, squeeze lime into a copper cup filled with ice. Add vodka and watermelon juice and stir well. Top with ginger beer and slightly stir.
- Garnish with a fresh watermelon slice. We used a star cookie cutter to get a more festive look.
