Cigars and booze. Do they really complement each other or not? I do not have a general answer to this question, but I do have an opinion. I believe they do and sometimes it depends on the mood I am in.

Cigar and booze go together when you have the time to select the booze, there are so many choices. Bourbon, scotch, brandy, cognac and Armagnac. Do not forget sherry, port, and madeira or for that matter. Some might even enjoy wines with their stogie.

The second part of the equation is the cigar.  What ring size, how long and what strength. Again, a lot of choices. The more choices the longer one needs to contemplate on them. Some even like to enjoy a cigar right after breakfast. What the hey, I like to do them together but drinking in the morning is tough at my advanced age.

Bottom line…alone or together is your choice. Do what you enjoy. If you can have a drink in the morning with a strong cigar, more power to you. I do enjoy both!!!!
