
Since 2016, the mainstream media has changed their journalistic integrity and slide down the mountain into the quagmire of propaganda peddlers. We found three definitions for the word propaganda:
From the Oxford Dictionary:
Propaganda – information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view.
From the Britannica:
Propaganda – is the dissemination of information – facts, arguments, rumors, half-truths, or lies – to influence of public opinion. Deliberateness and a relatively heavy emphasis on manipulation distinguish propaganda from casual conversation or the free and easy exchange of ideas.
From the Urban Dictionary:
Propaganda – the spreading of ideas, information, or rumor for the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a cause, or a person.
At The Maverick Observer we are going to add ‘DUMB’ to the end of the word and use ‘propaganDUMB’ going forward. Our definition is below.

Propagandumb – the state of big media today, culminating in little interest in facts, accuracy, or true journalism, instead focusing on “likes” and the money garnered from the sensationalized propaganda.
