Amara Property for Annexation

How in the heck did Colorado Springs Utilities (CSU) change its position from having enough water to entertain annexing Amara, to not having enough water?

CSU has a $1.6 billion budget (26.3% higher than in 2022) and approximately 2,000 employees. You would think a utility company this large would be able to research and provide a solution to the Amara annexation without doing a 180. This is ridiculous. Either CSU doesn’t know what they are doing or is easily swayed by outside influence.

Mr. Wayne Williams, as the Utilities Board Chairman, who is responsible for this outrageous performance and hopefully getting fired?

It just goes to show the utility board members, aka city council members, don’t have enough knowledge to manage this life-saving asset properly!
