The article, ‘What’s the Deal with Synthetic Fuels ‘written by Matt Posky, gives me hope. I hope that the insanity of “green electric cars” is finally being scrutinized by clearer heads. People wake up, electric cars aren’t that frigging green! Yeah, those heavy metals and how they are mined really are toxic. Do your research and look at both sides of this issue, not just the bs green side.
Porsche and Ferrari are researching the newest, at least to me, possible synthetic fuel as an alternative to gasoline and diesel. Europe delayed a vote on banning the internal combustion engine. Synthetic fuel has been around for a while, and I don’t know if it is carbon neutral, but I don’t care right now. I’m just excited that someone is looking at another fuel source than electric in the hopes of keeping the combustion engine.
What I do care about at my somewhat advanced age is taking younger folks to a car show and letting them hear a Chevy V8, a Porsche opposed 6, or a Ferrari V-12. All glorious sounds that should not be forced off of this planet. Yee-haw! Yes, they sound better with my hearing aids in.
