Background: This patriotic Flag Fruit Pizza is a family favorite recipe! It is incredibly delicious and gets the family involved. I always recruit my son or little helpers to construct the flag. It’s a win, win. They have fun decorating this festive dessert and we create fun memories in the kitchen. Plus, the pizza is SO GOOD!

  1. Heat oven to temperature suggested on cookie instructions.  Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper. Sprinkle with flour and continue to use flour to roll out chilled cookie dough into bottom of pan to ½ inch of edge.
  2. Bake 16-20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely, about 1-2 hours.
  3. In medium bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and lemon juice with electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Spread mixture over cooled cookie crust.
  4. Arrange your strawberries and blueberries into whatever design you desire. Our favorite is the flag, but we also like stripes and spirals!
  5. Refrigerate until chilled, at least 1 hour.
  6. Cut into squares – I like to use a pizza cutter.
  7. Cover and refrigerate any remaining pizza.

Three Cheese Mac & Cheese and Tim & Lorie’s Beans are other BBQ essentials.
