I have been on this planet for 68 years and have had a lot of varied experiences. This article will deal with spending money on new vs. used things. 

I was raised with a mother who would not think about buying used unless it was an antique. I love antiques too but let’s look at other items to buy used, which might show more financial smarts than always buying new.  

Cars, watches, furniture and a myriad other items. A car could be a dealer demo, a watch might not ever have been worn, or a tux only used once.

How many parents have hunted for used baby clothes and items instead of buying new? At Cheapism, they list 24 more items to buy used. I bet you can turn your brain and come up with the works for you!
