These S’mores Bars are a fun twist on a classic campfire dessert, just in time for summer!

Background: These S’mores Bars are even better than the classic campfire dessert! They are very easy to make and are perfect for the summer season. You get the toasted marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers baked into a decadent, delicious little bar. The goo or “paste” that holds the bars together gives them an incredible taste that you don’t get with regular s’mores. Take our advice and try out these S’mores Bars – you will not be disappointed!

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8 or 9-inch square pan with parchment paper so that it comes up higher than the sides by an inch or two.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk in the brown sugar, milk, vanilla, and sea salt until well combined. Remove from heat and whisk the graham cracker crumbs into the butter mixture to make a paste.
  3. Place a single layer of graham crackers on the bottom of the prepared pan. Spoon 1/3 of the paste mixture over the layer of graham crackers. Top with 1/3 of the marshmallows, then 1/3 of the chocolate chips. Repeating this process, add two more layers.
  4. Bake for 18-22 minutes or until the marshmallows have browned on top. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
  5. Cut the S’mores Bars into squares and serve!
