The 15s speakers are here and I am breaking them in.
The PBN Audio speakers were hauled downstairs by four gainfully employed gentlemen last Saturday morning. At 280 lbs, I obviously could not do it alone.
I let the speakers warm up to room temperature for about 5 hours and hooked them up. I spent about 45 minutes listening and will have more to say after 50 hours (the time for break-in according to the manufacturer).
So far, I am happy and relieved. They are positioned in the room close to the same place as the older speakers and appear to sound good there. I will have my expert friend and hi-fi guru, Gary, in for a listen. I value his advice and ears.
Until then stay tuned to this ongoing saga. Long live beautiful music whatever that may be for you.
