Colorado taxpayers recently received a $750 check from Governor Jared Polis with a letter highlighting “Colorado Cashback”. This is your money in the form of a TABOR refund because the government taxed you too much and had to return it.
Much has been in the news lately on this largesse, but do most folks understand TABOR and what it means? We are getting ready to post an in-depth article on the history of TABOR that will hopefully make it clearer and demonstrate why TABOR is so important to Colorado taxpayers.
