Background: When peaches are in season, you have to make this Peach Old Fashioned cocktail recipe. We like to make ours with Bird Dog Peach Whiskey, but you can make it with your favorite peach flavored whiskey. This is a perfect drink to enjoy during the summer.

  • 4 ounces Bird Dog Peach Whiskey, or your favorite peach flavored whiskey
  • 1 ounce brown sugar simple syrup
  • 2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters
  • Fresh peach sliced for garnish
  1. To make the brown sugar simple syrup, combine equal parts water and brown sugar. You can heat it up by using a small pot on the stove or by using the microwave. Once it is hot, stir well until sugar is dissolved. Let stand and cool. Store in airtight container.
  2. Add simple syrup and bitters to cocktail glass.
  3. Add a large ice cube, we like molds like these ice spheres.
  4. Add whiskey to glass.
  5. Stir together for 1 minute.
  6. Garnish with fresh peach slice(s) and serve!
