These Cheeseburger Egg Rolls take an American classic to a whole new level!

Background: Cheeseburger Egg Rolls are everything you love about the classic cheeseburger, plus more. They are packed with flavor and fun to eat. The crunch from the egg roll wrap combined with the hot, gooey contents is just amazing! Don’t be afraid to take on this recipe. These Cheeseburger Egg Rolls are very simple to make and are sure to impress your guests. It’s a great recipe to make for BBQs, parties, or just a fun meal to break up the usual rotation.

  1. First, sautee onions over medium heat until fragrant and translucent. Then, add bacon to the pan with onions and cook until done. Drain grease and set aside (I pour the contents of the pan onto a paper towel lined plate).
  2. Cook ground beef in the same pan you used for the onions and bacon. Season with your favorite burger seasoning or spice mix and Worcestershire sauce. After it’s done cooking, pour ground beef into a medium bowl.
  3. Add your onions, bacon, pickles, and cheese to the ground beef and mix well.
  4. Spoon the cheeseburger mixture into the center of the egg roll wrap. Using this technique, roll it up and set aside. Repeat this step until you have used all of your cheeseburger mixture.
  5. Add enough canola oil to a deep fryer or deep pan to reach 2 inches; heat to 370 F.
  6. Add a few egg rolls to the pan, being careful not to overcrowd.
  7. Cook the egg rolls until the wrappers are golden brown, about 1-2 minutes on each side. Remove from pan and set on paper towels to drain.
  8. Serve with your favorite sauce and enjoy!
