Capitol Rioters Do Not Represent Me!
I watched the news in horror during the Capitol rioters, but I was horrified when all Republicans were painted with one brush.

I do not know about you but following the uptick in the craziness and division caused by the storming of the Capital building and subsequent actions have left me with a sense of defeat and helplessness. I found myself feeling inept, sad, scared, and embarrassed by the actions of some of my fellow Americans and the Government. Where are we headed in the coming days and years?
Fabulist or Storyteller?
I heard a term this morning on Fox News, during an interview with Steve Forbes, and I had no idea what it meant. The word was “fabulist”, defined as “a person who composes or relates fables or a liar, especially a person who invents elaborate, dishonest stories.” In my family that would be my Uncle Bobby on my dad’s side, but we called him a storyteller, defined as “a person who tells stories.”

Banning Mail-In Voting
Mail-in voting has been in the news since November 4, 2020. There have been enough problems with this way of voting for a long time. The United States is supposedly the freest nations on the planet, but we might be the laziest one too. I mean really folks, think about this. Do we need mail-in voting? We can go shopping, run errands, and get our nails done, but we are too afraid to stand in line for a voting booth?
