This is sad. In a YouTube video, dated February 27, 2021, Ruby Bode, Assistant Superintendent at Estes Park School District outlines the new program, Grading for Equity Commitments for the Estes Park High School community. If ever there was another reason to home school your kids or send them to a private school, this video demonstrates it.

The world is full of crazy people. We all know this but the amount of crazy people who do not have facts, of any kind, in their heads has exploded in these days of social media and propaganda reporting. This is my opinion, and I am sticking to it. The by-product of this is dumbed down people who do not have a clue of how to verify something that the propagandists and “social” media folks opine.

I believe that the city of Colorado Springs would be best served by electing all new folks to the City Council. My perspective comes from several years of studying this body as it fulfills its limited function in a city which is ranked in the top 50 in population.

We recently experienced an arctic blast in February, that went into Texas and lasted for approximately six days. But now we may feel a blast of another kind to our wallets.

I would like to rename Washington D. C. The new name would replace the phrase, District of Columbia with the phrase, Devotees of Craziness and would encompass all the folks who work in the political arena. By and large, the politicians or the Devotees of Craziness have lost all touch with a huge group of the American people.

When the stormwater fees passed in 2018, I knew it would only be the start. Then when the city was sued, and I read the lawsuit I believed Colorado Springs would lose. Both First and Main and Flying Horse were specifically named in the lawsuit. Thank you very much indeed, Norwood and Classic Homes.

I do not care what you think, but I believe it is WAAAAAY past time to start holding elected officials and bureaucrats accountable for telling the truth with character and honesty. This sounds like a simple issue. It is not. Because of the lack of character almost all the folks in government speak in political jargon instead of answering questions directly.

In the Gazette on Sunday, February 7th, Mayor Suthers called the Space Command decision “comical”. He stated, “It’s either a document that was meant to achieve a political end or it’s a very flawed analysis.”

First let me say flying this weekend to Grapevine, Texas was not a bad experience. The flight crew were professional, courtesy, and attentive to our needs. BUT our needs consisted of putting our belongings away and sitting in our seat until we got to Grapevine.
